Witold Bereś

The boundary between patriotism and chauvinism is thin and fluid.

I’m a Polish Jew, but all the Jews regard me as a disgusting Pole-lover, as having the character of a Pole.

Whereas I think that patriotism is repulsive. I’d never say of myself that I’m a patriot—I’m a patriot of there being freedom everywhere.

And Poland is for all its citizens.
